Crystal Pascucci will bring a group of close friends to make a lively set of music, including jazz and classical musicians, for the typical blend of instrumental songs with light vocals. The evening is dedicated to woman band leaders. Sharing the bill is Alison Niebedalski and Beth Schenck.
Dirty Snacks Ensemble (music by Mark Clifford) will be at the Ivy Room (Albany, CA) every second Wednesday from November through January. The band consists of bass clarinet, cello, vibraphone, bass, drums, and percussion. DSE performs instrumental jazz, with chamber music, minimalist, and indie influence.
Aunt Rose (Mark Clifford, Crystal Pascucci, Jordan Glenn) is performing at Muchmore's in Brooklyn. The set will include composition from all members, interlaced with free improvisation. Aunt Rose is a delicate, chamber ensemble pulling on free improvisational techniques that hark back to contemporary classical, jazz, and rock influences.

A multimedia collaboration with Frog Wing, Inner Movements will premiere a theater piece for live musicians, puppets and narration. The plot is based on a Taoist story depicting an emperor from the Tang Dynasty and a guard who has mystical powers. The story shows how one can distribute wealth and resources in a peaceful way.
Bent Duo (NYC) and Inner Movements (Clifford + Pascucci) will be sharing an evening of music for piano, percussion, vibraphone, and cello. Their program will include works by Hannah Lash, Ted Hearne, Pauline Oliveros* and is featuring the premiere of a work by Crystal Pascucci for vibraphone and prepared piano. Inner Movements will perform an entire program of Mark Clifford's music for vibraphone, cello and tape.
